Problem Faced:
Many people struggle to quickly assess whether the food they’re eating is healthy or not based on appearance, especially when eating out or trying new meals. Traditional nutrition tools can be time-consuming or require manual entry. The challenge was to build a solution that gives instant feedback using AI, with minimal user effort and with strong privacy safeguards.
Solutions Provided:
The app uses AI (e.g., advanced food recognition) to analyze a photo of a meal and provide a clear “Healthy” or “Unhealthy” verdict along with a confidence score. Users can save and track their food history, mark favorites, and export data. The interface is streamlined and supports light/dark themes, and everything is designed to respect user privacy.
Implemented instant food analysis from image input (camera/gallery) and quick health verdicts.
Built a history & favorites system so users can track their eating habits over time.
Added dark/light theme support and a clean, modern UI for better user experience.
Ensured privacy-focused design: photos and data are handled securely, with emphasis on local control.
